My work asks how one constructs meaning through different methodologies of repetition, trauma, and habituation via simultaneous narrative obscuration and confession. This work easily traverses performative and disciplinary boundaries while addressing questions of identity, remembrance, and responsibility between maker and viewer. It explores the boundaries of narrative role-play by hinting at the limits of any object’s or character’s knowable provenance.  Currently, I’m assembling a Holocaust Educational Kit for very young children according to the logic of a teacher who both is and is not me.
